Flash Reader has shown text one word at a time on the App Store since 2010, years before Spritz made the idea famous, and went quiet in 2019. Version 4 is a rewrite, line by line, for iPhone, iPad and iPhone Duo. Paste, share or open a document and read it with still eyes, at a speed the app is honest about: understanding holds to about 350 words a minute, and the ruler says so. No account, no server, no tracking. Free to start, Pro by the year, by the month or once.
